“GOING BACK TO GOSYEN”

Gosyen Hotel is an excellent holiday venue, we can attest to this as we spent the last 24 days holiday there. GM (Ferdie) and his assistant are extremely approachable and open to constructive critism, all suggestions we made were acted on. Previous reviewers complained breakfast was ordinary and mainly asian, we suggested American breakfast or savoury omelettes, next morning these were offered to guests by the staff as an alternative, now implemented permanently. There were a couple of heavy drinking sessions at the hotel, bar ran out of alcohol, Ferdie sent staff to Circle K to purchase additional stock until order delivered next day. We had extra friends and local families to stay over Christmas and New Year, hotel staff went out of their way to accomodate our guests. If guests have any issues, they need to approach management, they will find that the issues are resolved immediately, instead of going away disgruntled. After 30+ trips to Bali and numerous hotels, the Gosyen what you see on websites is what you get. Location is good, we are both 50+ and walked to and from the beach, Legian and Kuta daily. If we did get tired it was a $2 taxi fare and that included tip. There are several restaurants close to the hotel. When looking at map of Bali accommodation guide Hotel looks isolated in middle of nowhere, but this is not the case. We are looking at booking our next 2 trips for ourselves, family and friends for this year staying at the Gosyen.

“Comfort Hotel Room”

Everything it ok.. comfort. clean. Room just facing swimming pool. The staffs very pleasant & helpful. There is a arrow for Kiblat (Muslim to pray)
