“Great family hotel close to beach!”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I stayed in a Standard Harris Room which was lovely. Very clean and a nice view of the pool (I was reading these reviews when I was booking and someone on here said to get a room with a pool view which I did!). We stayed over Nyepi day (silent day where no Indonesians and tourists leave their homes/hotels for 24hrs). We were not looking forward to this as we thought it would be horribly boring but the hotel put on some fantastic activities to keep everyone occupied, which was great. The food was nice and overall very enjoyable. The only complaint I have is that there is no swim up pool bar – we were looking forward to cocktails by the pool! You can still get cocktails but it’s not quite the same as having a swim up bar. It is a family orientated hotel – great for kids. I probably wouldn’t stay again but only because it is for families, and we were hoping to have more of an upbeat hotel to stay in with people our own age (early 20’s). Never the less it was still a great stay and would highly recommend for families of all ages!

Had a plesant stay, staff we all friendly and good service, B'fast was always extended after sipulated time and we were given late check out. Any items reguested like complementary tea/sugar/water was delivered within 5 minutes. Iron and iron bourd requested was delivered and was in our room for the whole 3 days stay. Cheers to the staff. Would definately go back and stay again.

I stayed at two hotels in bali and wanted to come back to the harris! The staff are so friendly and helpful. ive seen bad reveiws on this hotel and to be honest the people giving bad reveiws probaby sook and whinge about everything in life n im sooo happy im not them!!!!

“Nice Hotel”

Great staff but the rooms were a little noisy, you could here the the staff walking up and down the hallway (just going about there business not making any unnecessary noise) and guests at all hours. The pool area was wonderfull, overall a great stay

Hotel was perfect location. Just set back off the beach road - with the entrance leading on to the new shopping centre "Beach walk" that has lots of shops and restaurants. Shopping centre leads to Poppys 2 so you're 1 minute walk from one of the main roads for shopping! Hotel staff are friendly and always willing to help. Prices of room service/ bar service are pricey but only compared to local prices. Rooms were spacious and had a good view of the pool area. Floors were a little dirty but other than that room was clean and had everything required! Pool area was amazing. Would stay here again.

“Best value for your money!”

Stayed at the Harris my first 4 nights in Bali after a 22 hr flight from Canada. Room was clean, ready and quiet. Overlooked the inside pool court area from the 2nd floor. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I was a single female traveler (48 yrs old) and always felt totally safe. Ate in both the cafe and the restaurant - both with basic food. Not outstanding but certainly no complaints. The pool is very nice with lots of loungers, space, umbrellas and activities - if you want to participate. Hotel is close walking to all areas of Kuta you may want to explore and the beach with AMAZING sunsets is right across the street. There is construction going on adjacent to the hotel of a plaza with a very Americian flavor (Starbucks - Hagen das - body shop - gap - burger king etc). But it will be a beautiful complex.

“Excellent Location Hotel”

The hotel is very conveniently located with friendly and obliging staff. The only points which prevent me from giving the hotel higher ratings are poor internet wifi provision and slow draining wash basin. The fact that the Hotel is situated next door to the new shopping centre means the guests can spend days without venturing out in extremely hot or rainy days.

“Old but Comfortable”

The pool and grounds are very nice & well kept .The chldrens play area & pool is also nice there are some fun activities for all ages including flying fox & table tennis the staff are happy to play .. Breakfast was Ok a little light in the variety i didnt discover the egg station until 3 days into my stay as it was outside the main dinning area. The rooms are very spacious & clean The bed was very comfortable Room service was prompt & the cleaning staff did a thorough job and are very accomodating. The disappointing part is the aircon is not very good & the rooms are very old the inital smell of dampness when I entered the room was a bit overwhelming but it quickly cleared once the room had some fresh air in it...They have also tried to modernise by painting over old doors and cupboords so the room facilities such as the bathroom , bath & shower recess , tea & coffee making facities are old. It is comfortable but definitely not a room i would pay more than $70 aust per night
