“Pullman Beijing”

We booked the executive floor and the service in the club room was very good. The staff helped as best they could their English was limited but this is common in Beijing. The food in the hotel resturant was good value for a 5 star hotel.

“Business as Usual...”

I am still a this hotel as I write this comment. I've find it difficult to understand that I have to go on-line to extend my stay for the same dollars I am currently paying. The front desk has it higher than on-line. The hotel still a little far from the city center and airport but it has a nearby subway station - Babaoshan - line 01. The hotel it is located 16.5 Km down the road to the west from Tiananmen Square...( same street )... I tried to included breakfast to my USD150,00 daily budget - It is not included ! Even though I was told I could ...I get different agreements from the front desk staff (not to their fault ). Make sure you can get the breakfast or you will have to pay 120,00 Yuans for it. The hotel is located next to a good shopping center - so you can go to watch a nice movie ( in English ) - food etc... The sauna works , swimming pool and the fitness looks really good... Internet still a problem - works really fine to really bad - intermittently... but that is a common thing in China. The staff is amazing - Overall I am having a good time !

“Beautiful Hotel in Quiet Neighborhood”

This is my second visit to this hotel. The design and upkeep is superb. And yet,...when a 5 star hotel advertises air conditioning and "in room washer dryer" - that is what I expect. Much to my dismay, I was told at check in that the air conditioning was not yet "available". When I went to my room, I discovered there was no washer/ dryer. I went back to the desk and was told that none of the rooms have a washer/ dryer. Apparently there was a misprint in the Expedia write up. Okay, so no washer - but to be in Beijing, in late spring, without air conditioning - in a five star hotel? They did comp me breakfast, which I suppose was acceptable - the food there is very good! I would use this Hotel again, just call ahead to make sure the air is operating.

“Wonderful hotel far from city center”

The Pullman Beijing West Wanda is a beautiful property on the western outskirts of Beijing (near the 5th ring road). The lobby, rooms and amenities are top notch. Unfortuantely, I was in Beijing for sightseeing and the location is not good at all. I spent 30-40 minutes each day to reach the city center by subway to begin my sightseeing. While the property is lovely, I can't recommend this hotel for tourists who are principally sightseeing in Beijing.

“Great Hotel, Location and Lobby Bar leave a bit to be desired”

The hotel facility and rooms are amazing! Phenomenal, plush rooms and decor. It is rather far outside of Beijing proper, however, we were well aware of that fact before we booked. It is located next to a subway line, which is convenient, however, expect to pay about 50-80 RMB each way if you take a taxi to anywhere in downtown Beijing. The only drawback to the hotel itself is that the lobby bar does not have the majority of drinks or cigarettes listed on their menu. Because of the remote location of the hotel, the lobby bar "is it" as far as "nightlife" goes in this section of town and it was disappointing that there was barely anything available in the bar. Other than that, our stay was fantastic.

“Not entirely I expected”

The hotel is great! it is well maintained, the rooms are very nice, comfortable, stylish. The location though is a negative point. It is a bit far from the city center and there's not much to see in the neighborhood. We were really disappointed by the service. We were constantly told wrong information concerning breakfast, opening hours for the facilities, etc. And there were many irregularities with our bills. We were also called 4 times during the night (between 3am and 4am) from the reception, asking us to pay for a 30 EUR bill from the spa. For some strange reason they couldn't wait until the morning and finally sent people to knock on our door asking for the payment. It was just unbelievable!!!
