“this is a wonderful hotel”

A great hotel and very reasonably priced. the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and leisure facilities were wonderful. Will definately return. It took about 15 mins to walk to wangfujing street or the railway station where the airport bus departs. Hard Chinese beds though. Used the spare duvet to make it softer!

“Wonderful hotel”

Staff was always very helpful. Most spoke some English. Hotel is a 10 min. walk to Wangfujing St. and the Night Market, a few minutes more to the Forbidden City. Taxis are plentiful on Jinbao Jie and hotel staff help provide correct addresses and directions to taxi drivers. Internet access was easy (unlike other locations in China where I have been).

“Great service!”

We found that the service was great. The people spoke English well enough to communicate with us. We used their travel service to book a private tour to the Great Wall which was wonderful. We had difficulties with our TV and internet and both times they sent someone to our room within 10 minutes and quickly fixed the problems. It was a great experience and I would stay there again for sure!

“Excellent choice”

Excellent choice for two week stay for myself and husband.The hotel is in walking distant to Forbidedden City, albeit a long walk, lots t o see on way. amyway Hotel staff always organised taxi if we did not feel like walking.Staff were welcoming, friendly and always helpful, english not always so good but that did not matter as they went out of their way to find out what we needed. We would stay there again and certainly recommend to others. We saw all the sites, tours organised by hotel all went well. Had great time and we were on first name basis with several of hotel staff, they really made our stay special. Enjoyed the indoor pool, room was also good size which meant after 10 days we weren't feeling caged in at all.

“A nice stay at Beijing”

I choose this hotel as it was conveniently located near to my conference venue. I thought staying at a "Chinese" establishment intead of well known European brand hotels will be a nice experience. I was not disappointed with my expectations. The facilities at the hotel, comfort of the room were excellent. The staff were courteous and very helpful. I would like to stay again in the same hotel, if i travel again to Beijing. The hotel is in the central / main location in Beijing, the famous Wanfujing shopping area is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. if one likes to do a good walk, one can enjoy walking to the Forbidden city, Tiananmen square.. which i did. From the airport, by taxi one can reach the hotel. It costs about 100 RMB. Being a pure vegetarian, my only challenge was with respect to food, which is not related to the hotel, but a natural challenge for a traveller to the "Oriental" china.

Front desk are very helpful. My next door is watching TV so loud and called front desk got it fixed.

“Exceeding Expectations”

I was expecting a four star hotel when I checked in, but the service, the amenities, the restaurants are those of a five star hotel. Very pleasant experience.

This was the nicest hotel I have stayed in. The staff were very friendly and attentive.The room was very comfortable and clean.I spent my birthday there and my partner had bought me a cake which I had left in the hotel.When I returned the hotel staff left me a birthday card and a bowl of fruit for us both.Iwould recommend this hotel 100%

“Excellent hotel”

Room and furnishings were excellent. Most impressed by friendly and helpful staff. While having dinner in one of the two restaurants, I dropped my napkin and before I could pick it up an attentive waitress rushed from about 20 feet away to replace it with a new one on my lap.
