"Booked this hotel in two different occasions just a couple of days apart. First stay was in the left wing which was in excellent condition, quite different from the opposite side of the hotel which was suffering for some attention. Location was spectacular, welcoming staff, and abundant quality breakfast. Just make sure to request a room on the south wing of the hotel."

"Good location for coming and going. Staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. All day coffee and tea is nice. Lots of recreation room to sit and socialize outside of your room. Laundry facilities were great to have as well. Contential breakfast was good and nice to start the day. Restaurants close by and grocery stores (netto) are close. All walking distance."

"Ich war dort für zwei Nächte. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich und das Frühstück vollkommen ausreichend. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war allerdings auf dem Stand der 80er Jahre, die Dusche hatte keinen Wasserdruck und das Wlan hat nicht funktioniert. Nur zum Übernachten ist es in Ordnung, aber insgesamt nicht sehr komfortabel."

"Great location. Small rooms. No place for suitcases. Hard flooring and impractical light beige carpet. Breakfast adequate but not great. Dining area overlooks ocean, so nice. Lots of ‘adjustment’ issues (hotel is new) so things may be fixed in the future. Area is lovely. Highly recommend The Red House for dinner in neighboring town of Eyrarbakki, a quaint fishing village a 10 minute drive away. 🙏"
