Great hotel, except it is no longer The Best Western hotel. But very nice rooms, fitness room and good breakfast!

The last time I went to the city I stayed at howard johnson..it was horrible underneath the train. This time my boyfriend nd I stayed at best western it was very clean a lil noisey but it was Saturday so we kno how it is gettin in late.. our room was very clean and organized a nice bathroom and I hate usin bathrooms that are not mine..overall we had a great night and a great stay and we can't wait to go back. We won't be staying at family house anymore

“surprisingly good”

The nieghborhood is a bit worrisome, but we stayed there for the proximity to Fordham U and the price. It was actually safe - our rental car was fine in the parking lot, and the staff was very nice. The included continental breakfast was great and this really nice man made delicious, fluffy Belgian waffles!

“Nice clean hotel in the Bronx”

When I was driving to the hotel, I was very concerned that the property would be a dump or dangerous. As I pulled into their well lit and freshly paved parking lot, I was comforted by the appearance of the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful. I requested a cab and the manager called one for me. Barry the Bronx cab driver delivered me and picked me up several times during my stay. My room was clean. They had free WiFi and free parking. They also had free breakfast, but I never ate it so I can't comment on it. The neighborhood is a little rough. As long as you follow basic safety practices, you should be fine. I would stay here again.

“Great Hotel for the grups, family and other”

This hotel is very nice...I liked so much. To 5 minutes of the station of the train. The very comfortable rooms with good air conditioning and exellen breakfast.

“Better than expected”

I travel to NYC on business weekly. My company requires me to stay in a budget hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the Sheridan Hotel. The workout room was nice. The free breakfast was generous. The staff had to come to my room to fix the TV - it took quite a while, but they didn't give up. Best of all - no bedbugs.

Room was nice and clean. Staff was great. Non-smoking room but the bathroom smelled like smoke. Only a few minute walk to the subway. Great for a quick visit to Manhattan.
