“Business in Chengdu”

Fraser Suites seems primarily a place for expatriates who stay in Chengdu for a while. Thus the place has less the character of a hotel. Rooms are big with complete kitchen including washing machines. Due to the fact that people here stay longer and are kind of residents, gym and pool are in excellent condiiton and have kind of club character. The pool has an artifical starlight ceiling quite unique. Recommend the place for a stay in Chengdu as it is located pretty central as well. The price Fraser offers is surely a good deal.

“Very disappointing experience.”

The hotel itself is very nice, but our experience was spoiled by several things. The restaurant at dinner is very very slow, very expensive and there is no kids menu. I would not recommend eating there with children. On our final day, one of our kids dropped a plate, before the plate was even cleaned up we were charged 35rmb which we had to pay immediately. Then on checking out, we found we had been charged an extra 400rmb PER NIGHT for a small fold up bed for our daughter, despite having pre paid for our room in total. We cannot recommend Fraser Suites to anyone based on our experiences.
