Hotel-Hotel Cina

We stayed a few nights at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful, The rooms comfortable and clean and the hotel is in a great location. If staying for business or visiting, this hotel ticks all the boxes. The negatives are hard to find but if booking, try and include the breakfast.

This is a customer oriented friendly hotel (clean and comfortable) and we will recommend our friends to stay in this hotel if they have a chance to visit Guangzhou.

Excellent hotel location in the City of Guangzhou. The subway access is just outside the hotel, the surrounding area affords a wide variety of resturants, hangout spots, 10 minute walk to shopping on Beijing Lu (Beijing Road), another 10 minute walk to the wild water front area of the Pearl River. After 11pm your guests need to be checked in at the front desk (with credentials) and check out on the way out after their visit. The staff speaks proficient English at the front desk, you can exchange money and room assistance is excellent. We had a standard room and was immediately upgraded to a business class room for free. Maybe a one time thing...who knows. Even though I never ate at the hotel, the prices is affordable...if not the options are endless around the Haizu Square area where the hotel is located.

I have stayed meany times at the Okura Garden. It is well located, close to excellent shopping on Huaihai Lu. Also good restaurants and night life. Quality of service is excellent. I look to stay here any time I visit Shanghai.

Well located for walking to the BUND; Metro (subway) line; shopping areas. Breakfast was great with good hours. The 31st Bar also had food items until very late - about average. Lounging area on 1st floor was closed most of the time and had a minimum "order" charge. Gym was ok, but little or no heat - so it was cold in March. Internet was direct link for a laptop and was good. Taxi was always out front, but ask to use the meter because verbal agreement can be twice the normal rate. Conciege was great with daily newspapers in Chinese and English. Desk/reception staff was excellent.

This hotel was very good = nice service, great rooms. Not so sure about the transparent bathroom though. But overall the location, quality and price made it an excellent choice.

This hotel is a good quality hotel that is easily worth a visit. It serves a good selection of Asian food. There is a minibar, and they provide two bottles of water, as the tap water is not drinkable.But be aware, if you are booking through Expedia, they do not pay the hotels, just the airline. I made the mistake of booking a flight and hotel "package". I found out the hard way that the cost you pay is just for the flight, not the hotel. So make sure you have the cost of the hotel on your credit card as the hotel will remove this amount from your card on check-in. Other than that the hotel is convenient for the metro, which is two blocks away, easily in walking distance. And conveniently is just what you need to get to and from Shenzhen International Airport, and costs just a fraction of what you would pay for the same journey on the London Underground. Locate the hotel in Google Maps and look east from the hotel, there you will see the green metro station symbol, and also the Kingglory Plaza shopping mall, a block sized mall 7 stories up two down with everything from the very expensive to cheap. Most attractions can be reached by the metro system, so this will be a start/finish point for most of your sightseeing.
