THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL AND ONLY A COUPLE OF MINUTES FROM JACO. GREAT PLACE, BUT THE COST OF FOOD KILLS YOU. HAMBURGER AND FRIES= $14 A BOTTLE OF COKE IS $4. HAS A GREAT MENU, BUT IT IS EXPENSIVE. OTHERWISE THE HOTEL IS GREAT. GORGEOUS VIEWS EVERYWHERE. WOULD BE EXCELLENT FOR HONEYMOONERS.

This is THE PLACE to stay if you are traveling to Jaco. Phillip the owner is on site and hands on in day to day operations in every area. The food is exceptional and fresh. His entire staff have been there for a extended period of time and they are attentative and proactive with no excuses. I have traveled worldwide and have been told I am extremely picky and it's true. There was not one single element of this property that could be called into question or considered marginal. The grounds are very well kept and all structures are kept up to date and fresh in overall upkeep. The pool is well kept, there is just not anything that one could call into question. If you or you and your family were traveling to Jaco this should be your ONLY choice. Many other properties in the area are marginal at best and there are a couple that are nice. This property offers you privacy, comfort, value with a amazing garden setting.

We enjoyed our stay at the Copacabana, Our room was nice and clean. We booked a Studio queen ROOM ONLY and at the hotel we upgrade to a poolside with king and jacuzzi and ALL INCLUSIVE, we will like to give you a tip because we were confused when we made our reservation, if you book through expedia you will book ROOM ONLY and then at the hotel you can upgrade to ALL INCLUSIVE. The food was 5 stars the best of any all inclusive hotel we stayed with a very large menu and a la carte. We loved the theme nights GANGSTER AND NAUGHTY CIRCUS, my husband enjoyed the big screen. The Staff was friendly

Villas Rio Mar was a lovely hotel tucked back from the road in the town of Dominical. The grounds were immaculate, with great landscaping that made you feel apart of nature, it was'nt uncommon to run into animals along the hotel paths. The beach was only a short 10 minute walk away, after which you could come back and lay by their spectacular pool. The food was good and the drinks were delicious ( I recommend the Pina Colada). After enjoying the beach and getting a massive sunburn we were thankfully able to book two aloe vera wraps at the on site spa last minute. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler, as they offer a variety of accommodations.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful, beautiful, views!!!! It was quiet, romantic, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious. The pool, lobby and restaurant was beautifully decorated. Staff was so friendly and helpful can't say enough good things about this place and we stayed a few different places on this trip. Be sure to have a 4\4 because you have to climb up a bumpy road to the hotel, but worth the trek. Dominical beach 5 minutes away with really yummy food and a beautiful secluded beach. Loved this place and will return some day!!!

This hotel is one of the most beautiful and charming places i have seen in Costa Rica. It is fashioned in colonial hacienda style with great taste and elegance. The central courtyard is a delight and the service is always provided with a smile. The location is also a plus since it sits within 5 minutes of Turrialba and not far from the Turrialba volcano, the archeology reserve of Guayabo, the jungle and many coffee plantations. I have no doubt that this hotel would satisfy any traveler.

Very peaceful location, we felt as if we had the entire hotel to ourselves. Friendly staff. Nicely landscaped. Quiet and peaceful stay!
