Hotel-Hotel Prancis

Fantastic hotel staff were top notch and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and well maintained with turndown service at night. We were welcomed by a plate of complementary pistachio cakes, fruit and two bottles of water which was a nice touch. The room was large compared to many of the other european hotels i have stayed in and had modern convenience while still maintaing the Parisian charm of the building in the grand staircase, the little balcony and the fixtures and hardware. The location was great as it was across the street from the louvre and a metro station and was within walking distance to many of the sights. Neighbourhood also felt safe when walking later at night.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would definately recommend it to others. The staff were very helpful and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. Close to many of the main attractions with a view of the Eiffel Tower

Friendly english-speaking staff. Reasonable price considering the great location. Clean, modern hotel with great restaurant for meals or drinks. Highly recommended. We did have an issue with water to the hotel stopping on the morning of our check-out and it looks like major construction is about to start out the front of the hotel, so I would watch out for noise in future.

Aside from a few microbes of dust on ledges and the broken side board thing (The top panel was broken in a few places on this paneled off section in the room) the room was very comfortable. The beds were ideally balanced between soft and firm, didn't creek, and the linen was good. The bathroom was very well cleaned, had a good shower (easy to use) and was well stocked. The staff were very good for what little we needed them for and spoke English well. The hotel was presented very nicely and looks very welcoming. We didn't pay for breakfasts in the morning but I'm sure they provided a well balanced menu, however, when we eventually got up we just found the nearest cafe/bakery and had a nice breakfast there. Easy to find, well placed to access the main attractions of Lyon within a 15 min walk. The Gallo-Roman ruins are a longer walk. Top marks and worth the money spent.

Besides the call me luxe et volupt� that reigned throughout--a masterly 25 euro breakfast buffet that changed my whole idea of what one of those can be. Wow.

The hotel is a small boutique hotel, close to all the action - a great location! My daughter and I were here together and we always felt safe. The hair dryer in the room didn't work and also the power in our room went out one evening. The staff responded to both problems and resolved them very quickly. Wifi connection was also very good. We also were coming to this hotel from the train station, having been in Italy prior, and it was about €10 cab ride. Lyon is a beautiful city and it has been a great stay.

Extremely helpful staff with useful recommendations on activities and facilities in Nice. The hotel was very comfortable - the room could benefit from some refurbishment although this did not spoil our stay. The hotel is very well located for the old city, the market and the sea front. Easily reached by bus from the airport.
