A great Hotel!!!!
I stayed three nights at this hotel and was very happy to have stayed here. The room was HUGE and clean. I was not too sure about the neighborhood, at first glance. But, I had no problems and really enjoyed the location and easy walk to the Duomo and everything in the area. Lots to do, great restaurants everywhere. I recommend the pizza place next door.

This a good hotel to rent especially traveling with family like us. We were family of five and we had 2 separate bedrooms with a living room, sofa and a kitchen. The place is good for it’s price. The issues I have are the fact the bedsheets are very old worn out and even had holes in them. I’m not sure if the rooms and the property are well taken care of. The free breakfast was a joke. They will give you a single croissant, a coffee and an orange juice. If you consume anything else more than that they will make you pay. Also the free breakfast was not actually inside the hotel property but rather outside a restaurant next door, so that was confusing.

Overall the place is ok but a lot of mosquitoes in the apt. Great views of the dome and we had access to a portico but we couldn’t use it due to rain. Also somehow water seeped into the apt after the rain. Thankfully it missed all our luggage. One of the positive points about this apt is it’s proximity to the Duomo and many other attractions and a lot of food choices / restaurants within walking distance.

Horrible stay - water leaking onto our bed
We had an absolutely horrible stay with water leaking from the roof onto the bed. We could not sleep all night and the hotel would do nothing for us, and even still today they refuse to refund us. I cannot understand how a stay could be any worse if the bed is completely soaked with leaking roof water.

We got the penthouse apartment. The apartment is located really close to Duomo as well. But there is a weird musky smell throughout the room.

Don’t stay here.
The room was horrible. We had wires coming from the ceiling. No windows. The AC didn’t work. We had no hot water. And got terrorized my mesquites.

I stayed here for a week as part of a research trip in Florence. The apartment was simple but spacious, with an absolutely gorgeous view of Piazza dei Ciompi and the hill up to Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato - I gazed out at that view quite a lot! They were very kind and upgraded my room to one that had windows, which I sincerely appreciated. My only complaint with the room was that the kitchen was extremely spartan - yes they provide pots/plates/pans/etc, but absolutely no spices/oil/salt/pepper/etc. I appreciated being able to cook to save money, but you might want to plan ahead by bringing some salt/olive oil/pepper, or of course you can buy it at the Conad one block down Via Pietrapiana. The hotel has (free!) laundry facilities, which I really appreciated. Even with two bars in front of the hotel, the room was completely silent with the windows closed at night. My only other complaint was that it was impossible to get in touch with the hotel via message on Expedia. I had a few questions and since the reception is not open all day, it would have been nice to have this option actually work. Otherwise, a good stay in a perfect part of the city (not so touristy.) I would stay here again.

Horrible experience. When we arrived we were given an envelope with the key. Took at least 30 minutes to find the room because we didn’t know the place had different elevators for different areas. The unit still under renovation. Instead of light fixtures there were electrical cables sticking out everywhere. The worst part… The property claimed to have a/c and yes there is a unit there but when I complained about the a/c not working I was told the unit is shut down by mgmt every day between midnight and 9am. Why claim to have a/c and shut it down!!! I couldn’t sleep because it was so hot in the room!! Horrible, horrible experience.

We stayed in the larger room 2 bed 3 bath. It was simple and clean. But there is no lobby and very little concierge help. It’s in a good area though. All of the rooms are different i think we got lucky with ours.

Unique City View w/ Hot Tub ... Impractical Layout
The place was unique with a great view of Duomo and surrounding area. Hot tub and colored lights in the room was cool. The space is very impractical with water puddles in the walkways after a shower (There was still water from the previous guests). Pros: - Unique - Good city view - Hot tub Cons: - Shower leaks and leaves water puddles in both walkways - Layout is impractical and difficult to navigate. - Couldn’t figure out how to turn off the colored shower lights, so slept with those on all night.

Well located only 5 minutes to centre, lots of restaurants and shops in the same street. Apartments are very spacious and are being refurbished which is good, new mattresses, new beds still with wrappers underneath. New bathrooms and good lighting. Cleanliness was a let down as the quilt cover and mattress protector were stained and beds were all creased as if someone had slept on it prior to us. I requested a clean cover to change it myself and when we moved the beds we found dirty tissues behind the bed heads, there was also lots of dust under the desk and dining table, and corners as if it hadn’t been vacuumed for a while. Included breakfast was provided by coffee shop next door, it was very basic, non Buffett, only coffee, tea, toasted spreadable cheese sandwich, bottled juices, plain croissant. Anything else was not included.

Two bathrooms, lots of storage etc. Kitchen had lots but cleanliness could get a lot better. Parking at the back is fantastic but beware the traffic restrictions to get there - we could only move our car after 8pm.

Spacious lovely hotel in neibhorhood with with great food and low prices. Very close walking to all tourist sites. Parking in back. Only poor item is laundry facilitees which are inadequate for guests

Perfect for a one night stopover in Florence.
Central location in historic area of city - even if area is a bit seedy, Huge rooms - the bathroom was the size of a normal Room in Europe. Good for self catering. Parking available.

"Room with a view"? No chance!
I have rarely been treated so rudely at a hotel reception. The woman who checked us in was horrible and didnt give us any information about wifi, breakfast etc. Acted like our arrival was a complete inconvenience on her valuable time. The studio was like a well appointed cell no windows or air circulating. Terrible if you are asthmatic. So could hardly tell if night or day when in there. Breakfast was via a voucher we finally got hold of presented at bar next door served by another charmless individual. Things in the appartment falling apart;shower pole ,towel rail,fridge shelf. Couldnt bear to interact with misery guts to report though. On plus side near an interesting neighbourhood,supermarket and bus route to station.10 mins to Doumo and most sites.
