"Great location for exploring beautiful Lyon. I did find our initial arrival into the hotel a bit awkward. The hotel itself is located inside an apartment building so you have to communicate through a buzzer system, then heavy doors and lastly into a very small elevator or two flights of stairs. "I waited 10 minutes in the lobby before anyone attended. I got to my room and took a shower. The shower drain was blocked causing the water to run out of the shower, into the bathroom and on to the bedroom. It was a mess. I had to use the towels to dam the water flow. Then my door wouldn’t lock. When I closed the door it could be opened by pushing g the door. I requested a room change but the desk clerk was reluctant to so to do. "This is a well located hotel for central Lyon. It has a delightful reception, lounge and breakfast restaurant area. The breakfast although 16 euros is great with good choice. The staff could not be more helpful. The rooms do let this hotel down, as they are small and have been updated in a more contemporary style. The curtains are not well positioned to cover the windows and so let in a lot of light and do not provide privacy. The bathrooms are very small and some are in need of updating."
