“Hip, boutique style hotel”

I love this hotel and look forward to my next stay. The staff are friendly, professional, and very helpful. The location is incredible: one sthort block to the city and your in the city at the third stop. The rooms are hip and large as is the bathroom with a huge modern shower large enough for two. Beds are comfortable and dressed in white cotten sheets and cozy Ikea comforters. Good, amble contiental breakfast with quality coffee. I can't say enough good things, just wish I was there now.

“SUPERB!”

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vetiver or should we say the stay was "superb" The rooms were clean and as described. Also the staff was very professional and friendly. The only issue would be the location; certain areas were sketchy being that one has to walk a few avenues over to find any decent restaurants, but I must say there is this sushi place near by that has the best chicken teriyaki I've ever had. Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel, as well as visit it again.

“Perfect Hotel”

Steps away from the subway!!! My husband and i stayed for two nights. Room was big and had a great view of the city. And where else in NY do you get free breakfast!! As for the area, I felt very safe. I walked to the subway alone with no fear. Took ten minutes to get to 42nd strret (times square). The N and Q stops are all over. I have been to NYC alot and I will never again stay at any other Hotel. Hotel Vetiver is the one!! I wish I knew the name of the girl who checked us in, she was Great!!

“single man-lost in New York”

Where to start-the room was very comfortable! The facilities and staff were second to none-(especially Miguel on the front desk)-room was always clean and I felt safe arriving back each night-(1pm Sunday after a show at Rockwood in Allen St!) If you are looking for a starry hotel with all the trimmings-look eleswhere-I chose Hotel Vetiver because-unlike Manhattan there is no traffic-hence no noise. Breakfast is fine but there are all day places and diners in Astoria that have to be checked out-there is no resteraunt but dining out is very cheap in NY-the main reason I chose the hotel was because I wanted to get out each day and see the sites for myself at my own pace-I used the hotel as a base to ride the subway into town and explore, shop or whatever I wanted to do that day. The Hotel is very close to the N & Q lines into Lexington & Times Square and is top notch for what I paid-any issues previous travellers have hinted at seem to have been resolved-want somewhere nice and reasonable to explore New York? Look no further...

“Great for short stays”

Overall the Hotel is clean and location was great. Most rooms did not have a closet. The kitchenette was very small and there were no convenient outlets to plug in your laptop or for phone for charging. The intior wall are very thin and can hear everything going on outside of your room. The continental breakfast was the worst thing of this hotel. You are crammed into a small room and not very sanitary. Only one elevator for 11 floors.

“Great location and very reasonably priced.”

The hotel was in a great location, 10 mins from Manhattan on the subway and a 2 minute walk from the station. The balcony has a fantastic view of Manhattan. The only downside is that we didnt have a wardrobe even though we requested one and with 3 girls, that was quite difficult. Also when we went to the bar and asked for white wine, they only had 2 glasses of wine left! The beds are extremely comfy but the shower wasn't fantastic. The outside area where you can have breakfast was a bit grotty. Overall though, it was perfectly adequate but very different to boutique hotels I have stayed in before.
