Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great place to stay for our Yellowstone vacation! The views on this property can't be beat, and my kids loved the fire pit with smores, the pool, and game room. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Gardiner, this is it!"
"The pictures that are posted for the cabins are a bit embellished, when we pulled up at the cabin, it was a run down 4 plex, weeds everywhere , a very sad porch, no furniture on the front porch. The back porch was just dirt. no furniture, did have a with a pretty Forrest view, the sliding back door was hard to use, and very beat up.
I should have paid better attention to the details of the cabin, no refrigerator or microwave, no TV. If you're looking for a very rustic experience this is the place. It was clean and the furniture was cute, but it reminded me of staying at an old Grandma's cabin with very worn out bedding and flat pillows.
Best thing of this day was the shower had amazing water pressure. I should have brought my camping gear and camping chairs."
"Old hotel on a beautiful spot on the lake. Great area with elf, bison and bear within 1/2 mile. The hotel is quite plain. No AC in rooms which is usually fine with cool nights
The biggest issue we had was that the staff is very inexperienced and poorly trained. They didn’t know the menus, area, etc. also there was no internet at the hotel which was a big issue since our T-Mobile had zero coverage in the entire park.
The food in restaurant was mid level at best. 50-50 for a steak that was tough and grisly.
Hoped for a nicer accomodation."
"Up to date, clean, very friendly staff, bed was comfortable. No elevator to our room but otherwise a great location and stay while visiting Yellowstone."
"Great location while visiting Yellowstone. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and a market. We saved a lot of money by having breakfast at the cabin then packing a picnic for lunch. We tried different restaurants in town for dinner. We even used the grills one day to make hot dogs. Staff was great!"
