I frequently stay at the NYC Pod hotels for business. I'm a New York local so I know hotels! And I was super impressed with their brand new location on 39th street. Wow! Is this a very cool & modern hotel! Yes, it's still so new...it's under construction but you can get some amazing deals! It's in a prime Manhattan location, central air con, very clean room, super modern facilities... perfection! Still small, but completely comfortable, affordable, & worth the stay!

“Great hotel in Manhattan”

My first time in NY I stayed in Pod 51 and, since it was a great experience, I decided to try the new Pod. Another great choice. I took a single room that had all that you need (TV, shower, wifi, comfortable bed) and for a reasonable price. Staff is very kind and there is desk with maps and tourist information and even a person ready to help you find tickets or whatever you need. Location is superb, you can walk to Times Square or Macy's and if you need to take a train, the Grand Station is only a few blocks away. The only con is that the street is not so nice, lots of bags of garbage and a construction going on but overall it is a great choice in Manhattan.

For the price paid and the location, it was an amazing deal! The room was smaller than an average hotel room but it was very clean. Staff was friendly! Still under construction so lobby and restaurant were still in the work, but overall great place!! Highly recommend

Staff are friendly; hotel is refurbished and clean with its own unique style; location is excellent (on the eastern side of Manhattan where it's not as crowded but only 15-20 min walk to Times Square)

I took a BUNKPOD room in this hotel (POD39). Its bit small but a very reasonable at price and comfort for one person to stay. The rooms are cleaned everyday and service here is very good. I recommend this room (Single or Bunkpod) for students/Employees who is searching for a hotel at reasonable rates. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone. Happy staying!! :) Thanks

“Wonderful location, totally worth the price!”

Wonderful location, totally worth the price! Though the room was a bit small. Great service at the front desk and concierge. Bath towels are small as well, specially for winter time.

“Great place to stay in midtown”

POD39 is a great boutique hotel right in the middle of Midtown Manhattan. It is 3 blocks from the subway (about 5 minutes walk) and Grand Central Station. It is walkable to all the sights in midtown and even to the boutiques of 5th Avenue and Central Park. The housekeeping staff can be overzealous in wanting to clean your room at 9am for those who sleep in. However they always do a great job and everything is clean and refreshed for you when you return. Admittedly the room size was small but I had an unobstructed view of the Empire State Building from my bathroom. Given its great location you will not want or need to stay in your room longer than necessary.
