"This was an excellent stay! Anytime I’m going to New York, I will be staying here. The place is so clean, very secure (three locks on the door). The staff was consistently helpful. And the $10 coupon that they gave you for breakfast is quite substantive because the café has delicious food that will fit the budget. I had quiches that were $10, or sandwiches that were $10. Haven’t seen that kind of price in the upper west side in New York. I really enjoyed my stay."

"When parking on Sundays you don't have to worry about tickets on the other hand on weekdays consider a parking garage. In my experience I realized there wasn't enough body wash and the tissue was not replenished it only had three sheets of tissue. I also did not get my complimentary breakfast vouchers so I ended up checking out by 8:30 a.m and leaving without breakfast. I would consider staying again because of the convenient location. The staff is kind and I should have asked for all the things...

"The staff at the Lucerne is always courteous, and when you need something, very prompt. I've stayed here several times and always enjoyed the hotel and the convenience of Nice Matin.
However: it is time to update the flaws in the bathroom, caused by the mirror which needs to be shortened by 18" from the bottom. That improvement would make it possible to raise the sink (and the shelf attached to it) and replace the toilet, which is the main bone of contention. I'm on the short side, and I do not...

"The hotel is very good, but I was annoyed when they charged me an extra $54 for a "destination fee." I had already paid for the reservation in advance, and the website made no mention of this extra charge. I only stayed one night and wasn't going to need any of the things included in that fee."
