“Great Experience”

We couldn't have asked for a better hotel. It was close to the metro, but we actually only rode the metro to and from the airport. We walked everywhere. The hotel staff was very knowledgable and friendly and the bathroom in our room looked brand new! There was plenty of hot water and a fabulous continental breakfast every morning. The room was small by American standards, but compaired to most European rooms, it was quite good sized. We loved this hotel and can't wait to stay there again.

“Great Paris hotel”

I traveled by myself to Paris and didn't require a large room. This room was perfect: it had a double bed (I booked a double), two small closets, a desk, and a private bath. The staff is very helpful and speak English. It is a 5 minute walk to the Grand Boulevard metro station. There are tons of restuarants to choose from, as well as a few small neighborhood grocery stores. A wonderful bakery is on the corner and the perfect place for a quick Parisan breakfast. There is a breakfast buffet, but the corner bakery was far cheaper. While the Opera district has many tourists, it felt more like where the locals would be which is what I was looking for. Also there are several antique shops in the area. Great place and I would definately go back.

“Very good hotel.”

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and would recommend it to anyone. The rooms were very clean. The bathroom clean and large. The receptionist and the hotel staff were very helpful and a child's bed was put in free of charge ahead of our arrival.

“nice and cheep”

its a very small(!!) hotel with good location, close from the metro (Boulvard), ca. 15 min, walk from the Opera. The rooms are extremly small, there for i would recomed this hotel as a "sleep only". The rooms are clean and staff is nice. In the morinig small french breakfast is served (coffe, milk, juice and bread). Good for low budgage. People speak English. Overall not bad as for 2* Hotel

“Decent simple hotel in a good location”

There is nothing great about this hotel, but then there is nothing bad about it either. If you want a simple place to stay in a good location - this is a great choice.

“It was good enough for who it was for”

Needed a place to stay for two nights and was looking for no frills at decent price. Hotel was as expected based upon other reviews. The smallest shower I have ever had. Area was fine a quite close to Metro station (Grand Boulevard). Would have been too crowded if my wife had come along.

“Best 2 Star I've ever stayed at”

We stayed at the Confort for 7 nights in June of 2006. The only time we spent in the hotel was to sleep so we were not looking for anything fancy, just a good night's sleep in a good, safe location. The location is pretty good for sight seeing. It's a couple blocks from a subway stop and about a 15 minute walk to the Louvre. Of course the Opera is about 5 minutes away. There are a few decent restaurants near by as well. There are a couple of grocery stores with a block or two to stack up on water, fruit, etc. There's a great sandwich place right across the street if you want to get some things to go for a picnic. Lastly, there's a Brazilian place about a block west of the Grand Blvds Subway stop which we highly recommend for dinner. Oh, and don't forget to get a Crepe with Nutella and bananas at the corner (you'll know which one-there's a line after 11p.m.). The room was small (for U.S. standards), but clean. Comfty bed. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The first couple nights they put us on the first floor, right above the kitchen, so it got a little noisy in the morning. We asked to be moved and they accommodated us by upgrading us to the suite on the top floor. Overall, a great value given the good location, friendly staff, and good night's sleep. Would highly recommend.

“Adequate”

When we first got to the hotel we were given an awful room. It was tiny and the only window faced a wall. However, the staff were really helpful and friendly and there was no trouble with changing our room to a much nicer one. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel for the day when we checked out which was fantastic as our train didn't leave Paris until 19.30. The location was ok. It is about a half an hour walk to the Louvre which was fine for us. The Metro Grand Boulevards station was really close also. The cafe on the corner next to the hotel served good coffee.

“Tiny but convenietly located”

This hotel was clean, the staff spoke English, a metro stops is three blocks away and it is surrounded by lots of restaurants. Unfortunately they have tiny rooms - the smallest room that I have every stayed in - and there is no dresser. We asked at least three times to be moved and were told that all of the rooms were the same size. I would not stay here again because of the size but it was clean and safe.

“Pretty good location.”

Room was very hot and stuffy. They moved us to another outward facing room which was bigger, more air flow but was noisy. I would probably stay there again at the right price and if the weather was cool.
