“Modern apartments, ideal location for business or pleasure”

This hotel is actually comprised of apartments, from studio on up and is modern, clean and well-situated for business or pleasure. I stayed in a studio which was like a large hotel room with a seperate kitchen, with dishwasher, stove, microwave, cooktop, etc. and a seperate, modern bathroom. Combined with first-class service, laundry on-site, internet access in the lobby and free wireless this place is hard to beat! Is it very near the Bastille and the Richard Lenior and Bastille metro steps are both a few hundred yards away. Definitely would stay there again!

“Good, Clean Apartments Close to the Centre of Paris”

We have been to Paris acouple of times over the past 3 years and I must say we are shocked at how expensive this city has become to visit. The Citadines Apart'hotel Bastille Marais apartments were the cheapest we could find within a reasonable distance from the city centre. The apartments are all self contained, however we found this was to our advantage as the cost of eating out was ludicrous and we simply would have blown our budget eating out every lunch and dinner time. I these apartments we had our own small kitchen for preparing meals when we decided to eat in, we then headed out to the pub afterwards. There was a local food market located just outside the apartments where we bought our food, all local produce including seafood, cheeses etc. Otherwise there is a local Spar just around the corner. The beds were basically sofa beds which I must say were reasonably comfortable although our travel partners begged to differ. Overall we were happy with our choice of these apartments and would definitely use them again. To get to the apartments from Charles de Gaul Airport catch the RER train to Gard de Nord train station. Then catch the number 5 train to Place d'Italie. You will need to get off at the stop Richard Lenoir which is right in front of the hotel. Couldn't be any easier really!

“very impressive apartment hotel in the center of Paris”

the room was spacious for 4 people with a separate bedroom for the two adults and the sofa/bed for the two kids. the kitechenette was more than adequate, and being on the first floor we had a huge balcony. we didn't watch any TV, but the TV was tiny and there was no DVD player . the location was two minutes away from the metro and 5 minutes walk from a central metro station BAstille.

“I can recommend this hotel”

This is just what we wanted for a short stay in Paris as a family with two boys aged 12 and 14. The hotel was easy to get to from gare de nord, was near 3 metro stations and was on the bus route for the 69 bus, which takes you to the Eiffel Tower. The room was comfortable, had all the facilities we needed and was very quiet. It's in a quiet area but walking distance to le Marais district and Siene. The only reason I wouldn't go back next time to the same hotel is that we would want to try somewhere new in a different district for a change.

“Convenient, comfortable, good value”

Stayed here for 3 hot days and nights in July. The air conditioning was a great boon. The living room was a reasonable size with sofa that had a pull out lower section to make into two twin beds. Our adult son found that perfectly comfortable. My wife and I had a good quality queen sized double in the spacious bedroom. The kitchenette off the living room was perfectly adequate with two ring hob, microwave, fridge and small dishwasher. Although located on a busy boulevard just north of the Bastille the apartment was quiet. It also benefited from a large underground car park which was less than half full. The location was good - a five minute walk from the wonderful Place de Voges and two metro stations nearby. All in all a very comfortable good value place to stay if you want the flexibility of your own apartment.

“Highly Recommend”

Great value for very good service (bi-lingual and tri-lingual and friendly), modern features, very clean, and free wireless internet available in rooms. Would definitely return here. We stayed for 4 days in a comfortable studio which had a full kitchenette and modern bathroom that was spacious for two. We saved $$ preparing hearty breakfasts and lunches and sometimes even dinner, when we wanted to and headed to very nice restaurants nearby at other times. We asked for a room away from the main boulevard Richard Lenoir which was quieter. The concierge also accommodated our request for a room on a high floor with a view. We were given a room on the 7th floor with a lovely view of the Marais district and Sacre Coeur in the distance. Two metro stations (Richard Lenoir and Chemin Vert) are a couple of minutes away so this provided excellent travel flexibility especially when we took the train to CDG airport (EUR 8.10 one way) and when we visited other Paris neighbourhoods. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Bastille (and Bastille metro station) which is also an interesting scene with fun art exhibitions and farmers' and clothing markets open on the weekend. For other days, the charming, lively, and artistic Marais district is right around the corner (5 minute walk) in comparison to the other side of Richard Lenoir Blvd is quite boring with main stores in the area selling primarily motorcycle paraphernilia, office supply, and furniture only.

“Would definitely use again”

This is a hotel with a difference. It is a spacious room with en suite but has also a small kitchen area with sink/fridge/cooker/dishwasher etc so if you wish you can eat in. Also an internet facility in the lounge which we found very useful. Great location with loads of interesting restaurants and close to Metro. Good value for money, the facilities were excellent. The only slight criticism I had was that though clean, the room would benefit from a fresh coat of paint but I would certainly go back and there are others in the same Group in Paris and elsewhere. Staff very obliging. (September 2006)

“Nice apartment hotel”

Agreed with other reviews, this is a nice, comfy and convenient hotel. We had a one bedroom apartment with 2 twin beds and 1 queen size sofa bed for our family of 4, the beds are comfortable. it is in a residentail area, coffee shop and pastry store are all nearby. The staff are friendly and greeted us when we came back. There is no room service during our 4 days stay. our room is very quite and the room size is comparable to American hotels. One thing I want to mention that since we arrived in the morning, the room was not availabe until 1 PM, so with sleepless night on the plane, we felt exhausted while waiting for the room.
