"Good location, close to the station, surrounding area was good with restaurants and bars, and the supermarket, but the building needs to clean up a bit, find it neglected on maintenance and breakfast is fair, can be better. Night time, security guard was good, helpful with a friendly smile."

"This was a great place to stay. Rooms are small, but has to be expected, considering it’s New York City. But this was a great little boutique hotel in Chinatown and the location was excellent. The only thing I had an issue with was we had trouble getting hot water for showers. Other than that this place was amazing."

"We booked this hotel as we were celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary in The City! I fell in love with this unique different hotel! Loved how comfortable the beds were and how it was alongside the window so we could see the City Streets. The rooftop was decorated beautifully with plenty of lounging areas. Love the new concept of efficiency hotel, unique ways in saving space. Just wish the had coffee pots in the room. Otherwise , highly recommend!"

"Room was fine, small but not a shoebox; bathroom door was unable to be fully locked but since I was travelling with a close friend, we did not have an issue with it. Desk in room had outlets to charge phones/ computers, but we had a hard time using it. After adjusting the cables it did eventually work, but it took a while to fully charge. Quiet area, super close to central park which was so nice! Elevator is old and sort of slow."

"The hotel is in a great location. I got the impression that it’s for a youngish crowd (mid 20s?). The rooftop was very nice, with cheap drinks. The only “issue” was that there was no safe in the room we stayed in."

"My son and I were traveling and wanted two beds. In NYC that is difficult to find in a boutique hotel for a reasonable rate, but we found cute bunk bed options at Arlo online. The pictures were way better than the actual room. We didn't ever see the sun, we were facing other buildings with zero view. The room was tiny, which is to be expected but it felt even smaller by the lack of light. It was also 2 feet from the elevators and a door that staff went in and out of all day long. That was a...

"If you are excited to visit the Big Apple and just have a place to crash Yotel will be one. Expensive, but that's it a place to crash. The front desk people only know to give you the Keys other things they will go away and make a call, and if you request the manager to show up, he will a sneaky and tip toe fleet the site. Definitely a bed in Manhattan managed by NON-Hospitality professionals"

"This was an excellent stay! Anytime I’m going to New York, I will be staying here. The place is so clean, very secure (three locks on the door). The staff was consistently helpful. And the $10 coupon that they gave you for breakfast is quite substantive because the café has delicious food that will fit the budget. I had quiches that were $10, or sandwiches that were $10. Haven’t seen that kind of price in the upper west side in New York. I really enjoyed my stay."

"The staff was exceptional. They were very friendly and helpful. Didn’t like that there was not coffee to make in the room. Also, we were on the 23rd floor and the tiny dark elevator to get down to the lobby from our floor often got packed. I am not normally claustrophobic, but I don’t think I could have gotten into that elevator another time. Way too small and anxiety producing. If we stayed there again, I would request a lower floor and take the stairs. Overall great location and nice...
