This hotel had a large amount of tourists from India and at night they had their doors open and yelling at each other. While i have stayed i. Tbis hotel on most of my trips i will not be staying there again. I like my sleep and this time it was very limited.

Hotel Square Wing is tired and need renovating. The Standard room (461) falls into this tired category. Check in in queues are horrendous and slow most of the time. Sky wing and Square wing should have separate check in counters to alleviate crowding at desks. This hotel is not in the 4 Star league. It is 3 Star at best. Most guests are from Bangladesh and Indian subcontinent. Breakfasts are okay but etiquette is not a strong point of a lot of these guests. Location is great with nearby bars, restaurants and NANA BTS Skytrain less than 5 minutes walk.

De airco maakte herrie als een straaljager, en als je hem uitzette stonk de kamer naar oud zweet, zweetsokken, zweetgympies. Enfin, heel vieze lucht, vuile ramen. Het lijkt allemaal chique maar is gewoon 2 sterren waard

Check-in process was extremely slow on that day. It was only the particular counter that I queued that was slow as I watched other counters processing check-ins faster than the the counter that I was in.

I’ve been staying with this hotel for years now, especially during the pandemic lockdowns, and they have always treated me like gold. The management and staff in every part of the hotel are truly the very best. This place is 5 starts, always and forever.

The hotel need major renovation to keep up with a 4 * status. Windows were dirty, shower was bad, closet's door falling apart. This hotel was superb years ago, felt really sorry to see it rots.

I have stayed at the Ambassador Hotel previously, but on this trip things had really started to slide with regards to the quality of the rooms, it’s service and it’s clientele. On arrival at the hotel, it took almost 30 minutes to check in as it was taking at least 10 minutes per guest to take their passport details, deposit and prepare their key cards. For a hotel with this many rooms I would have expected higher numbers of staff on the front desks to deal with the checkout and check in numbers. Other hotels will have you checked in and in your room within five minutes of arrival. I had upgraded to a superior room in the Skywing, but the windows were filthy, the bed linen was stained and the bathroom facilities and aged old towels and flannels were dreadful. The room sizes are admirable, but the years are really starting to show with this particular hotel and there was constant noise from loud inconsiderate Indian families constantly rampaging through the corridors and around the pool bellowing at the tops of their voices. Finally, the pool area itself is relatively well maintained, although you have to manage your sunbathing by the availability of the sun hitting the sunbeds, but the swimming pool gets little sunshine to heat it up and also has no easy walk in options other than a standard metal ladder so not ideal for those not that steady on their feet. Location is excellent for everything though with amenities all around. Won’t be staying again, I’m afraid.

Ambassador hotel has its own ambience and pride that makes it an outstanding hotel. I stayed in the Privilege room in Sky Wing for 7 nights Excellent room beautiful sky view and most important comfortable bed The house keeping kept the room very clean and up to date with even small things I consumed every day very impressive. I would have given 5 star to this hotel as it perfectly fits my needs but I am giving 3 stars for the reasons I mentioned below. I requested the hotel restaurant manager lady to heat my to go food in one box or show me a microwave but she said she would charge me 50 Bhat which is very unreasonable. Ok I am willing to pay 20 bhat but 50 bhat is too much. She was also very impolite and rude and also was opening my food box in front of all the other waitresses to ask. Didn’t they teach her any manners and how did she become a manager for restaurant with this character. Another thing is when I went for breakfast after 9 am I am unable to find a table for myself although I was just one person. This big hotel e issue with so many rooms accommodating so many guests should know and be prepared to handle these situations but apparently no one cares. Both above issues are related to poor hotel restaurant management. They should definitely replace that lady restaurant manager. Other than that I always stay in Ambassador hotel whenever I am in Bangkok as this hotel is huge and lots of space to walk around which I really like and has amenities like gym and sa

There are 2 things i was not happy about. 1. I asked for an additional access card for my wife who was due to arrive several days after me and the counter staff initially refused to issue one, citing insufficient cards and giving hypothetical scenario that they would not have enough cards if every customer asked for one. She only agreed to issue a card valid for 1 day when i told her that i would return it on that day itself. 2. No iron and ironing board in the room and housekeeping doesn't deliver it to the room either. Ironing room is at the end of the wing which is inconvenient and the ironing room does not look clean. Apart from these 2 points, I am happy with my stay in this hotel.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, FROM THE DINING (FOOD), THE VIEW FROM THE ROOM WINDOW, TO THE ROOM, EXCEPT THERE WAS A BREAKER BOX IN THE CLOSET THAT MADE CLICKING NOISES SPORADICALLY THROUGH OUT THE DAY. THE CLICKING WAS KIND OF CREEPY AT NIGHT TO HEAR. AN THE LIGHTS SHUT OFF ONCE BY IT SELF.
