On arrival, the staff were very pleasant. We arrived at 10am and the check in wasn't until 3:30pm so they stored our bags for us so we could go and enjoy the day. Check in was seamless and we took the lift to our room. The room was very nicely decorated in yellow and black. We had a king size bed with two separate covers which was great. The bathroom was small but adequate. The only annoying thing was the desk was curved so it made opening and closing the window difficult. It also didn't have any tea and coffee making facilities but I don't really expect that too much in Europe.
The rooftop bar was a very lovely addition. Great space and nice to get out and enjoy the summer evening after coming back to the hotel with a drink. The hotel reception area also had a large TV which showed the football game which was much appreciated as I couldn't watch it anyway else.
There was also a scratch card which entitled us to a free drink.
Great stay, only did 4 stars because of the annoying desk in front of the window otherwise it would have been 5!
