자주 가는 곳입니다. 직원들도 친절하고 식음료도 가성비가 높아요. 그런데 시설 유지 보수에 어려움을 겪고 있는지 수영장의 선베드는 온전한 상태인 것이 거의 없어서 매우 불편했고 수질도 예전에 비해 많이 나빠졌는데 통 개선되지 않는것 같아서 아쉽습니다.

The front desk staff was very helpful and professional in assisting me for my check-in to the resort for a 2 night stay. Despite the official check-in time was 3 pm, I arrived early at 1.30 pm and they do the necessary arrangement for me to check-in at 2 pm instead - really appreciate their kind help and assistance in this matter. Thank you.

Overall experience is bad. Towels are old and dirty, when askef for additional towels, the staff said there will be 20MYR charge per towel. Bedsheet has stains. Bathroom run out of toilet paper and kleenex. Bathtub is old and has stains. Hotel stuffs still working moving room furnitures, mattresses at around 9PM, wheeling ot on the hallway making loud noises. Phone in the room doesn't work well, having difficulty tryingto call the front desk.

Le Grandeur is a far cry from its 5-Star predecessor Hotel Sofitel. The rooms and the building look tired and not well-maintained. To be fair to them, the COVID pandemic has probably halted a lot of recent maintenance work. But the building looks like it has not been maintained for several years already.

Acceptable if not high expectation
Not spotless clean - have stains on bedsheets, a little dusty but it's ok just wear the slippers, TV screen is not watchable, have mosquitoes but can ask for mosquito repellent, it's a quiet environment but aircond & refrigerator buzzing sound is a little loud.

I like the place because it is spacious and full of greenery around. Also the price is attractive. What I do not like is that the breakfast is not as good as last time.

Pettynyt tasoon ja palveluihin
Ensimmäisen huoneen pesualtaan vettä ei saatu poistumaan korjausmiehenkään toimesta. Television kuvanlaatu oli surkea. Avaimet toimivat satunnaisesti ja niitä jouduttiin toistuvasti päivittämään. Huoneen vaihdon jälkeen vesisysteemit toimivat, mutta valosysteemit olivat sekaisin. Huonepalvelulta tilattujen lisävesien toimittaminen kesti tunnin verran ja toteutui kolmen ylimääräisen soittokerran jälkeen! Hotellin yleinen siisteystaso oli surkea ja ravintolapalvelujen taso oli romahtanut. Kokemusta tästä hotellista on minulla ainakin viideltä aikaisemmalta majoituskerralta. Hotelli vaati pikaista renovointia ja palvelujen roimaa parantamista!

Do you want to freeze every night?
I have been a regular visitor to Le Grandeur for the last 5 years, often visiting this hotel 2 or 3 times each year. While the rooms are nice and spacious, I have found the room thermostat does not work and it is freezing cold at night. I brought this up to the staff and they promised they would look into it. So in my last visit I asked them for a room in which the thermostat will work so that I can adjust the room temperature. They promised to give me one but I soon found that only the thermostat fan work but I could not change the room temperature. I felt very cheated and disappointed. So anyone wanting to stay in that hotel must be prepared to freeze during the night! I hope the hotel staff will read this review and improve their service. Otherwise, I wonder why I must pay them to freeze me every night!! John B Samuel

The bed sank in when we slept. The time we sleep was too late for us to make a complaint to change room. However, the facilities provided was to much pleasing. Hopefully, if I return for another stay, I won't be given such a bed again. We stayed at Room no. 305.

Property is extremely run down, definitely not 4 star. Reception and wait staff understanding of English very poor. General maintenance non existent. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, even by normal standards let alone European acceptability. Room service however was exceptional. Resort needs major renovation to bring it back to its potential. Golf courses and club house amazing.

Most of the facilities in the room are not working. Iron keep leaking water, water tap in the toilet is broken, drainage of shower is blocked, many ants are found in the desk near tea/coffee set. I have to switch on the lights one by one. The floor near bed side tables are full of dust.
