Hotel close to Little India

Posted 12-Oct-2017
Pros: none
Cons: everything
Location: ...
We booked this hotel through "Expedia" for 4 people - Family room for 2 adult and 2 children 9 & 14...but but they only had bed for 3 people...when we asked the staff, they said their "Family room" only has 3 single or 1 dbl n 1 sgle bed (3 people).....so where does the 4th person sleep....so we had 3 person sleeping in double bed all the 5 nights we booked.....very disappointing and not happy at all.... '''This is something i will take up with "Expedia" how can i book a room for 4 people when bed is only for 3 people..... also night before we left, we asked the reception to book a mini van (4 bags) to airport n he said come in the morning...and the reception booked small car...lucky the manager was there and helped him to arrange another vehicle otherwise we would have missed our flight.....very stressing....

Convenient location next to MRT

Posted 01-Oct-2017
Pros: Very close to Rochor MRT, and just a very short walk to Little India MRT
Cons: 3 staff at the desk, 1 dealing with a guest while the other 2 watched, I needed a taxi but no one was making any effort to attend to me.
Location: Right next to La Salle College, easy access via MRT to all Singapore has to offer
I have stayed here before, it's a convenient and unexpectedly quiet location. I recommend requesting a room on the Albert St side of the building to avoid traffic noise. This is a nice little place but don't expect a resort style hotel with pool or gym, it makes for a convenient and comfortable base for exploring Singapore.

Good location close to metro and little india

Posted 28-Sep-2017
Nice hotel, clean rooms and a decent size for Singapore. Great location, close to two MRT stations and the huddle of little India all in walking distance. Only let down was the rooms seeming a little out dated for the price paid. Otherwise a great hotel.

Hotel with Character

Posted 23-Aug-2017
Hotel was very good. Nice staff who gave us drinks whilst our room was cleaned. They did their best to help us, showing us routes to places and pointing out good money changes close to 2 MRT stations. Quick wifi. Good breakfast.

Very convenient location

Posted 17-Aug-2017
The hotel was very conveniently located just 4 mins walk from Rochor MRT. Also vegetarians have loads of eating options since there are Indian restaurants within 5 min walking radius like Ananda Bhavan, Sarvana Bhavan etc. Hotel room was ok, breakfast was ok. Sentosa was 17 dollars by cab and so was the airport. Singapore MRT is really easy n convenient so being so close to the station is a huge advantage. Overall a tad expensive but worth for the location

Reception staff were excellent, so helpful!

Posted 06-Aug-2017
Pros: Location of the hotel
Cons: Breakfast menu selection
Location: Location is excellent, close to shopping and transport. Serangoon Road/Little India is so good for shopping and eating at very reasonable prices
I would highly recommend the hotel, the reception staff are excellent, could not do enough to help. Hotel has a delightful ambience and in a very good location, my only negative comment would be the breakfast which I think could do with some improvement with regards value for money and selection. Thankyou for making my short stay such a delightful experience and a big thankyou to the front office desk.
