This is the first time I’ve had to leave a negative review, but the experience was unacceptable. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor. As a travel nurse, I rely on stable internet for critical tasks like signing contracts and booking travel. I had to use mobile data, which drained my plan and added stress.
More troubling was the bug issue. I noticed another bug earlier in my stay and tried to ignore it. Two days later, I found a bed bug on my bed. I called the front desk in distress. The staff member who answered found it funny and denied it was a bed bug. I offered for her to come see it herself, and she agreed, bringing two others. One woman looked visibly shocked. A male employee insisted it wasn’t a bed bug. I pulled up a comparison photo on Google—it was clearly a match. They took the bug in a tissue to show the manager.
Before this, I had asked several times for a refund and was refused. Only after confirming the bed bug did they agree. The same staff member who previously found the situation amusing called to say I’d be refunded. However, the refund did not cover all expenses: a new hotel (remaining balance due to last-minute booking), Uber to new hotel and bank (to withdraw money for laundry), laundry expenses, disinfecting supplies, and sealed bags.
I asked multiple times to speak with the manager and never got a follow-up. Only one blonde front desk clerk offered her apologies.
I cannot recommend this hotel.
