The staff were incredible - very friendly, attentive and caring. The food was also terrific - local indonesian and international options. There were 3 pools in addition to your private pool which all had different offerings and vibes. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay! Will recommend like it was recommended to us! It is nice staying at a top quality resort that is not part of an international inauthentic chain. Although those chains have their benefits at times, Royal Pita Maha has kept up to their standards and made it authetically Ubud! Thank you!

The villa was claimed clean, however, my husband and I noticed dirty linens and the pillow covers smelled unwashed. The floor was very dirty. The ceiling had spider webs. The wooden sliding doors won't fully shut so the bugs/insects could easily get in the room. We could not sleep properly due to the insects feasting on us. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights, however, we ended up staying for 2 and had to move to other hotels due to horrible experience at this hotel. The whole resort felt like we were in a ghost town. The property sits at a very beautiful location, but they have to do a major renovation. The food were not good, not for a five-star hotel at least. Overall, we were very disappointed and dissatisfied with our experience at this hotel.

Loved the setting, food and bev needs an upgrade
We loved the property itself. We felt like we should be in an Indiana Jones movie. While our villa was definitely not new, it was kept in good condition and so incredibly traditional Balinese it was very fitting with its surroundings. Unfortunately, what let Royal Pita Maha down was the food. Their menu was pretty basic with standard Asian fare and nothing creative nor modern-inspired like many great restaurants now in Bali. The food was also really expensive (Bali-wise) for the quality and creativity. I would recommend staying there for the property alone, but be prepared to venture out for meals. Breakfast, however, was really good.

Bellissima struttura immersa nella natura. Vista e servizio mozzafiato così come le ville e la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale. La struttura è incredibile, sembra uscita da un film, le foto non rendono giustizia! Ottimi anche tutti i servizi tra cui piscine, Spa e la colazione. Comoda anche la posizione vicino ad Ubud ma fuori dal grande traffico. Unico appunto forse migliorabile la ristorazione a cena visto il prezzo.

Property is fantastic . But still service wise they need lot of improvement especially taman dedari restaurant. Girls were good at taman dedari but one guy who was serving us was not discipline enough.

One of the most beautiful resorts I have been to in my life! It’s amalgamation with nature and original Balinese architecture was exquisite. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. They take care of each and every request by the guests. The restaurants have a breathtaking view of the cliff and serve Michelin class meals. Over all I would recommend this resort to everyone who comes to Bali and is looking for a luxurious stay in Ubud.

The property is amazing regarding pool and room view .. private pool .. friendly staff and good breakfast many options. There is a waterfall on site. We had an issue and it was resolved, very professional staff and manager tried to please us after what has happened which was a good thing. Would recommend

Old hotel, overrated and over priced for nothing, dirty smelly pool with fish smell, no water pressure, spiders wipe everywhere, poor breakfast, the only good thing they gave us a close villa, indoor restaurant over priced and outdoor restaurant poor menu considering we are on one of the top hotel in Ubub My recommendation not to book at this hotel and pick anything new or nice villa from airbnb

It was AMAZING! There is A temple, A jungle, A river inside hotel. Authentic atmosphere best place i ever been! Royal villas view also amazing! Stuff was so kind! And the massage is the best in the Bali!

Our 3 nights stay were amazing! We stayed for our honeymoon and the place was perfect for it. The food is amazing, the view from the restaurant where we had breakfast was spectacular. As weather changes in Ubud constantly, we were able to enjoy different views of the jungle. The staff hospitality and service was amazing too. My husband prepared me a romantic dinner and the food was delicious. Thank you!!!

Great Balinese hospitality and culture
If you would like to experience true Balinese hospitality... then I would definitely recommend this hotel. The grounds and buildings are absolutely beautiful and the service was exemplary. The hotel may seem slightly dated but I think the character and the ambiance more than make up for it

My wife is in absolute love with this place and this is saying a lot as we have been fortunate enough to see the world and rarely visit the same place twice. With that said we WILL be back. Next year indeed. The setting, the fresh scrupulous food, the unbelievably divine spa, the genuine friendliness of the staff and the pristine condition (which is hard to maintain in a humid jungle setting) of the entire property was kept in are some of the factors in why we feel this way. It was everything (and more) we were hoping it would be. Thank you!!

The view from the room was spectacular. We expected some bugs. We saw moth, gecko, lizard but not a roach on my dinner table at the restaurant! Too many stairs. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to go to the Yoga pavilion from our room. There is no fitness facility.

Honeymoon in Ubud, Bali!
This resort stay was so amazing. This is the first time I have stayed at a resort in the rainforest. It was very relaxing, quiet and intimate. We spent our honeymoon here and it was the perfect choice. We highly recommend this resort!

素敵なホテルでした
丁寧に手入れされた素敵なホテルでした。天気が悪い時もあったので後回しにしましたが、特にリバープールやホーリープールは早く行けば良かったと思うくらい美しかったです。階段がキツいので、高齢の方にはお勧めしづらいですね。
