Our visit got off to a rocky start when we were stranded at the airport for 1.5 hrs waiting for our arranged transfer. It was difficult to contact the hotel. Finally a worker at customer service was able to contact them and due to a ‘miscommunication’ they had not sent a driver to pick us up.
However, they quickly arranged for
a reliable taxi to pick us up. When we arrived at the hotel, the manager apologized and did not make us pay for the transfer. This is my only complaint! For the rest of our stay the entire hotel was the most friendly, most courteous, and most helpful I’ve come across in my years of travel. The hotel and room was sparkling clean. The rooftop bar serving snacks and drinks daily at tea time was great. The breakfast selection was plentiful with a variety of food choices. We did a couple excursions through the hotel, which we thoroughly enjoyed, including renting bicycles for the afternoon. The manager went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Again, we got off to a rocky start, but I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again. It is evident the hotel staff pride themselves on sincerely pleasing their customers.
