4/10 Poor

"The hotel was in a good location and rooms were nice but the check in is at 4 pm and their only pool closes at 5 pm. It definitely has terrible rules. They include a pass to a private beach where they give you a couple of chairs and towels but sun umbrellas are not available for free or rented and they do not even sell those there or nearby. The restaurant took over 30 minutes to give us a basic order to go of Raviolis and when we finally got them, they were super cold. They take over 25 minutes just to give you a drink at the bar they have near the pool. One of the 2 elevators was broken so it was really bad. Terrible service. Would not come back and it is not a 4 stars hotel considering the bad service and amenities they offer."

"Location and price were the factor after missing a flight from JFK. Arrived well before 3pm check-in but no means to store luggage. Town reminds me of those midwest, southern towns slowly dying out. Property is pretty used, and allows in-room smoking on the 2nd floor. Colors throughout are on the dark side - without bright lighting it feels gloomy."

"Smoke detectors were going off for hours. Staff “couldn’t figure out” how to shut them off after someone burnt popcorn. We were traveling with an infant and they couldn’t find the cribs that are advertised as free/available. What a disaster and the staff was so unhelpful and apathetic."

"I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and I have to say that this is a unique opportunity for me to sing the praises of a gentleman and scholar; his name is Jose Lopez and is the chief engineer of the property. I’m sure it is not often to hear about someone behind the scenes. Jose exuded the traits of a top tier management position as he was intelligent, compassionate and committed to excellence. He was immediately able to rectify an issue I had and ensure my stay at the property was one that would make my family happy. The back of the house and those who put the heads in beds housekeeping manager Mr. Polanco, part of his team Maria Garcia housekeeping as one learns in hospitality school are also the unsung heroes of the industry where a property cannot function without excellence. Jose Lopez, head of the engineering department Mr. Polanco …when I am asked about my stay I must say they are the ones who can make the most difference in a world of negativity. Of course GSA Caitlin was superb and I will detail her amazing performance in my next review"
