"The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "

"Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend "

"Well presented clean room on the ground floor with excellent facilities. Food and drink excellent. Staff were incredibly helpful with any queries, we felt like one of the family. "The staff were very helpfull, the room was clean, our room was above some kind of air con or fan unit outside on the wall and it was so hot we had to have the windows open so it was a little noisy. On the Friday night there was an event on after the races.. A DJ playing music until 1.30am, we were informed of this upon check in but feel that if we had been informed a little earlier we may have cancelled our stay and booked alternative accomodation as I had a 4 hour drive home and not much sleep...
