The hotel is right beside the big skytrain upgrade, so there is a LOT of construction noises, dust and limited parking. The check in staff was very kind and let our kids re-check us in a couple times so they could have a turn with the pen. The room was fine, but really needed a better cleaning. There was almonds on the floor, the light switches had grime on them, dead bugs in the lights and the toilet paper holder had (what we hope was) rust spots all over it.
The bed was fine, a little firm. Sheets were clean. Water pressure was acceptable. It was very un-soundproofed. The toddler above us sounded like they had a really great dance party for a long time.
Also no cleaning elevator, so be prepared to wait awhile or use the stairs. There is also no pool. I made the mistake of booking quickly and assuming there was based on pictures. The hotel shares a parking lot with a rec centre and you can pay and go there if you want to go swimming.
