Overview

Discover the “godfather” of all Christmas markets and the most magnificent middle age town in Germany combined on this privat 2 day tour.

Day 1: We leave Frankfurt at 1 p.m, drive to Nuremberg (app. 3 hours), check into your hotel (accomodation included) and then go visit the spectecular and romantic “Christkindlsmarkt” in a stunning old town setting.

Day 2: we continue on to Rothenburg, where you will see all sights, and learn a lot about the area and history in an easy and entertaining manner.

On your 4 1/2 hour tour by feet through old Rothenburg we will stop at all of the famous tourist sights like the St. Jakobus-Church or the Plönlein. Bur you will also see some hidden gems, like the Criminal Museum with it´s torture and witch hunting section.

Your guide is fluently bilingual in German and English and upon request can do the tour in what we call “easy English” (designated for guests with English as a foreign language).

We will be back in Frankfurt by 7 p.m on day 2.

Besides the sights individually mentioned you will see the middle age criminal musem, the old citty walls with it´s 2 famous towers, the historic Tauber valley double bridge and -upon request- either the Christmas museum or the signs of jewish life in middle age.
