"Everything was great, and would have gotten 5 stars, except for the dog barking. People are so rude leaving their dog in their hotel room to bark, bark, bark when they go out. Really. Not cool when people are trying to sleep. Had to complain to the manager, who called the owners. Who are people so inconsiderate "

"It’s a beautiful lodge next to the lake, you get to enjoy breathtaking views of the lake at sunset. The room was a bit dusty but no big deal for us. The restaurant was amazing, we had breakfast and dinner and it was very good, bit expensive but worth it. All the staff were very nice. You only get 30 minutes of WiFi per day!!, but we loved that, you get to be present and fully enjoy your time. Many hiking trails near by with a beautiful waterfall. The lobby is extremely cozy, with many board games and a huge fireplace; since you can’t use your phone, we went to read there and relax, it was full. "

"Everything is perfect, besides breakfast, maybe add more healthy options. And add a rule not to fill a jacuzzi at night. Someone decided to do so at midnight and it was so noisy that I could sleep for a while after "

"I really liked the Shilo Inn. The room was clean and big and had a half divider between the bed area and the dining/living area. Also, there was a sink in the large bathroom as well as a (bathroom) sink with a lot of counter space! It is a large facility and someday I hope it can be what it used to, full of life with the restaurants open. I would definitely go there again!"
