"I hosted all of my friends for my husbands birthday party. It was the perfect venue to get away from it all-- enough lodging for our friends, and great privacy. The owner checked us in and out, but other than that we were on our own-- exactly how we wanted it :) Houses are perfectly appointed with plenty of supplies for cooking and eating. "The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. "I am very pleased with this location!! I often travel to UCSF and need a lay over spot. This will become my new lay over spot!!! The staff is amazing and friendly. The rooms are clean, cozy, and feel like home. It’s been a long time since I have had a good night’s rest/sleep, boy did I feel comfortable enough to do just so!! Thank you!"
