What you can expect
Discover Belgrade from a new perspective – authentic, dynamic, and full of stories. This tour is more than a classic walk through the city. Together, we will explore the real Belgrade – a city that has been destroyed more than 40 times and rebuilt again and again. That is exactly why Belgrade today is a fascinating mix of East and West, tradition and modernity, history and nightlife.
Our tour begins in the heart of the city, where you will feel the atmosphere of modern Belgrade. After that, we will delve step by step into the various historical layers of the city. We'll talk about the Celts, Romans, Ottomans, Austria-Hungary and many other empires that shaped Belgrade. You will understand why this city was considered the border between East and West for centuries.
As we walk through the streets, squares and hidden corners, we discover places that many tourists never see. I will tell you local stories, historical events, and interesting details about the lives of the people of Belgrade – both in the past and in the present. It's not just about facts and figures, but about the soul of the city.
Of course, we will also visit some of the most important landmarks, such as the Kalemegdan Fortress with its spectacular views of the Sava and Danube rivers, historic streets in the Old Town, and places where you can particularly well experience the contrast between the old and new Belgrade.
The tour takes place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with plenty of room for questions, conversation, and personal recommendations on food, culture, nightlife, and local insider tips.
Whether you're in Belgrade for the first time or want to get to know the city better, this experience will show you Belgrade not just as a tourist, but from a local's perspective.
