Begin your experience with a 25 minute shuttle transfer (shared) from Queenstown to The Church Cellar Door Cafe in the heart of the Gibbston Valley Wine Region.

The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. Ride up to 18kms of wine country - home to 10+ award winning wineries Enjoy wine tastings, stop for a leisurely vineyard lunch, or simply soak up the spectacular scenery of vine-covered hills, dramatic cliffs, and the Kawarau River.

At the end of your ride, return to The Church for your scheduled shuttle back to Queenstown. If you're still enjoying one of the other wineries, we can also collect you from any winery marked on our map.

Know before you book

  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Not recommended for travellers with poor cardiovascular health
  • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Minimum drinking age is 18 years - bring ID.
  • All clients HEIGHTS must be advised at time of booking
  • Comfortable, athletic clothing and shoes. Layers recommended.
  • Gloves recommended in Winter
  • All the wineries are generally walk-in. However, for groups of more than 6, we recommend booking ahead.
  • Suncreen and sunglasses advised in Summer.

Our friendly team will get you fitted to your bikes and provide a comprehensive trail briefing before you set off. From there, the choice is yours – enjoy a tasting at The Church as your first winery stop, or head straight out to explore the valley and discover the region's renowned wineries at your own pace.
