Overview

A once in a lifetime experience in Thailand, the Chiang Mai Authentic Sky Lantern Festival 2025 will be held on Nov.05, 2025.
It's the second large-scale venue with about 7,000 paticipants to celebrate Yi Peng Lantern Festival, with breath taking views of thousands lanterns flying in the sky.

3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Meet us at the Chiangmai Railway Station. Show e-ticket on your cell phone to get on a train to the venue with breathtaking countryside view.
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Welcome and Register. Enjoy acticities at handicraft village and Thai snacks and herbal drinks.
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Enjoy Traditional Thai dinner with Northern Thai food, snack buffet and soft drink.
7:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Enjoy art and Thai classical dance performances as well as tribal show.
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Launching sky lanterns.
9:00 PM - 10:00 PM
End of ceremony and transfer back to the city city centre.

  • No short pants, sleeve-less tops or mini skirts are allowed. We recommend you get dressed up in Lanna style with a longyi as bottoms and a clothing on the shoulder.
