The programme starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk and a drive to the dive centre. At the dive centre, you'll meet your instructor, who will provide a brief orientation and a safety briefing. You'll learn how to use the scuba equipment, how to communicate underwater, and how to equalise your ears. After the briefing, you'll be fitted with scuba gear and taken to the dive site, which may be a swimming pool or a shallow area in the sea. Your instructor will guide you through the underwater world, pointing out marine life and interesting features. The duration of the Discover Scuba Diving programme may vary depending on the tour operator and package you choose. Some programmes may last for a few hours, while others may last for a full day. The programme is usually suitable for anyone in good health who is comfortable in the water. No prior experience is required. After the programme is complete, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk.
