Departing from Tozeur at 9:00 AM, you will drive south through the spectacular scenery of Chott El Jerid, the largest salt lake in Tunisia. Along the way, a photo stop in Debebcha will allow you to admire the vastness of the desert and the natural mirages for which the region is famous.
The day continues with the discovery of a hot spring, an unusual place where water gushes out in the middle of the desert.
Upon arrival in Douz, the Gate of the Sahara, you will enjoy some free time in the souq to wander around, discover the local crafts, and experience the authentic atmosphere of the city. A friendly break with a mint tea will complete this experience.
Next, depart for the Sabria camp for lunch in a unique Saharan setting. There are optional activities available on site, such as a dromedary ride or a quad bike excursion in the dunes.
