Tips

Meet a Rapanui artist at his house and experience how to carve a wood moai statue. Get a glimpse into the ancestral culture of his ancestors and take your own piece of art home with you.

Learn how different tools are used in different parts of the process. The artist will chop the piece of wood that he will use for the statue.

All the tools, the wood, and other supplies are included in this master class. Remember that this kind of art is endemic. The moai statues were created only in Rapa Nui island so it's a one-time-only activity in the world.
