House of Chocolate
  • 1h
This unique hand-crafted mini museum and café tastefully brings all things chocolate together in one spot, paying homage and telling the rich heritage of cocoa and chocolate in Grenada. Discover their display that introduces the history of chocolate and learn the process of how the sweet treat is made. After this educational introduction, the café awaits with delicious chocolate made on-site, complimented by ice cream, cakes and drinks. To complete the sensory experience, you can enjoy browsing chocolate paintings, clothing, self-care products and more.
Grand Etang National Park
  • 1h
The Grand Etang Forest Reserve, encompassing elevations from 300 metres at St. Cyr to 760 metres at an unnamed peak in the Reserve’s north, displays a combination of ridges, the upper headwaters of over 10 steep-sided coastal valleys and the upper basin of a major tributary of the Great River. The Reserve contains four of Grenada’s highest mountains: Southeast Mountain (712m), Mount Sinai (700m), Mount Qua Qua (713m) as well as the unnamed peak (760m). All of volcanic origin in the Pliocene and Pleistocene Periods, these mountains dominate the physical landscape. Volcanic activity also contributed to the formation of Grand Etang Lake as a crater lake: one of three explosive craters in the Reserve. Slopes on the flanks of these mountains and connecting ridges are generally in excess of 20 degrees and often in excess of 30 degrees. Grand Etang Lake empties into the tributary of the Great River.
Seven Sisters Falls
  • 2h
  • Admission ticket included
As it says in the name, this attraction is a collection of seven beautiful waterfalls, set in Grenada’s evergreen interior, not too far from our famous Grand Etang Lake. A 40-minute trek through the lush rain forest, large bamboos and pretty heliconias takes you to the first of the pristine cascades, beginning a unique adventurous discovery of each equally charming ‘sister’ via rugged trails. Dipping into the cool mountain pools will reinvigorate your body and mind as nature surrounds you. Be sure to take your swimming costume and suitable shoes.
Annandale Falls
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
Timeless beauty are the only words to describe the Annandale Waterfalls. Just a 20-minute drive from the capital, this stunning cascade is surrounded by a lush garden of colourful blooms and tropical foliage. The waterfall stands 30 feet high with the constant flow of cool water from the surrounding mountainous streams, plunging over a rocky outcrop into the pool beneath, which appears sparkling emerald on a sunny day. Annandale and its pool are perfect for light, relaxed swimming on your own or with your family. Added to this natural beauty is the Wild Orchid Restaurant and Bar with its airy open plan style which invites fresh air and offers gorgeous views of the waterfall while serving up some great local cuisine and drinks. You can also visit the Interpretation centre to learn more about the surrounding ecosystem as well as purchase souvenirs to remember your visit.
Clarke's Court Rum Distillery
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
Arguably the largest and best known rum distillery in Grenada, Clarke's Court has been in operation since 1937. However, the company existed before that name was established, and its rums were formerly known as Tradewinds and Red Neck. Clarke's Court, it would seem, originated from two sources. Dutch Colonists came to Grenada in 1670s and attacked the town, seizing some lands and the Bay in Woodlands, and named it ‘Court Bay’. After the French later recaptured these lands, the era of 1763 to around 1801 saw Gedney Clarke Esq acquire parcels of land from the French, totaling 780 acres. The land would include what is known today as Woodlands Estate, where the distillery is located, and included Court Bay. From these instances, the name Clarke's Court originated, and it’s a name that continues to thrive.
