Start the day trip by departing from Fort Dauphin. Your driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel or the harbour, and then you will set off for the Berenty Reserve, travelling through a typical landscape of southern Madagascar with its semi-arid scenery, traditional huts and tombs.

After about two hours of driving, you will arrive in Berenty. You will then begin your tour of the reserve, a benchmark site for scientists and visited by many people interested in exploring the various animal and plant species found there.

You will spend more than 3 hours exploring the park in search of lemurs, but also birds, which are also abundant in the forest (there are no fewer than 102 species).
