What you can expect
“Korea is a hidden gem for food lovers — come cook and taste its vibrant culinary soul.”
Step into a peaceful, Hanok-inspired kitchen tucked away in the heart of Seoul.
We’ll begin the experience with a cup of traditional Korean tea and a short conversation about Korean food culture. From there, we’ll start our hands-on cooking journey using fresh local ingredients and time-honored techniques.
This experience is led by a host who grew up learning from her mother, a respected Korean food artisan, and later travelled across all six continents exploring culture and cuisine.
Now back in Seoul, she welcomes travellers with the same warmth and openness she received around the world — offering not just a class, but a connection.
You’ll prepare a full Korean meal from scratch: four side dishes, one soup or stew, one main dish of your choice, and a beautifully plated bibimbap.
As a special part of the meal, the host personally grills samgyeopsal (Korean pork belly) and serves it with fresh seasonal vegetables — just like it’s done at home.
Each step is beginner-friendly and carefully guided, so no prior cooking experience is needed.
After cooking, you’ll sit down together at the table, enjoy the meal slowly with conversation and appreciation, and finish with a simple Korean dessert.
Whether you’re a passionate foodie or a curious traveller, this class offers a warm, memorable, and delicious way to discover the heart of Korean home dining.
