What you can expect

Maasai Mara is the most famous National Reserve in Kenya, with its open rolling grasslands and abundance of wildlife renowned for its good game viewing. It sustains all of the “Big Five” – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard as well as an astonishing wealth of other game. Often a whole range of different species is in view at one time. Each year, usually in July/August the Mara is host to millions of wildebeest who migrate north from Serengeti. The marvellous wide open views and interplay of light and shadow are themselves worth a visit to the Mara.

Itinerary:

Day 1 - Nairobi - Maasai Mara

Depart from your Nairobi hotel or airport for Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight accommodation is at Oldarpoi Mara Luxury Camp or Sentrim Mara Camp or AA Lodge or similar.

Day 2 - Maasai Mara

Early morning and late afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight accommodation is at Oldarpoi Mara Luxury Camp or AA Lodge or Sentrim Mara Camp or similar.

Day 3 - Maasai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast, return to Nairobi and dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or Airport.
