As your guide, I'll take you on an unforgettable journey to Panorama Ridge, a must-do hike before you leave Vancouver, BC. Our adventure begins at the Rubble Creek car park, where we'll start on a well-maintained trail that winds through a dense forest of Douglas firs and red cedars. The first few kilometres are a steady ascent with switchbacks, but the ever-changing views keep you captivated.

As we continue, you'll see glimpses of Barrier Lake and Lesser Garibaldi Lake, their blue waters teasing what's to come. We pass through meadows bursting with wildflowers in the summer months, where you might spot wildlife like marmots and deer. The trail offers a variety of perspectives, from lush forests to open ridges, ensuring you never get bored.

As we climb higher, the trees thin out, and the expansive views of Garibaldi Lake and the surrounding mountains come into sight. The lake's vibrant turquoise water is so stunning that it feels like you are in heaven. We'll traverse rocky paths and cross bubbling streams, adding to the adventure.

Reaching Panorama Ridge, you'll be rewarded with sweeping views of Garibaldi Lake, with its surreal blue hue, framed by snow-capped peaks and glaciers. This challenging hike provides opportunities for breathtaking photography and moments of awe as you take in the spectacular scenery. We'll enjoy a well-deserved picnic lunch here, soaking in the beauty and tranquility of the alpine environment.

The return journey follows the same path, offering different perspectives and the chance to appreciate the landscape anew. This hike is challenging, but the reward of experiencing such unparalleled natural beauty makes every step worthwhile.
