Activity Overview Authentic kimono rental experience in Kyoto’s historic Gion district. Choose from 300+ kimono styles, enjoy professional dressing and optional hair styling, and capture memories with optional photos in Gion and around Yasaka Shrine. What participants will experience - Arrival & check-in at the shop on the 4th floor of the Ookini Kyoto Yasaka Building (540-3 Gionmachi Minamigawa). - Select a kimono from over 300 styles (casual, formal, hakama for men, seasonal / premium designs). - Full kimono dressing by trained staff (includes undergarments, obi, sandals, bag and small accessories). - Hair styling for women included in selected plans; simple hair accessory provided. - Optional professional photo session (in-shop or on-location in Gion/Yasaka Shrine area) — extra fee applies. - Stroll around Gion in kimono (return to shop to change/return at scheduled time).
