Naowarat Thanasrisutharat founded the Lila Thai Massage Ex Inmate Employment and Skill Development Centre in 2014 to empower and support these women. Through this initiative, participants receive professional massage training from certified instructors, many of whom are former inmates now employed by Lila Thai Massage. The programmes are officially endorsed by the Chiang Mai Public Health Department and fully comply with its requirements. This initiative aims to reduce reoffending rates among women in Chiang Mai while addressing the underlying social challenges, contributing to the long term goal of building a stronger and more inclusive community.
