The handling of avalanche search equipment, shovel and probe needs to be learned and, above all, practised regularly. Basic knowledge of all guided tours is an advantage, sometimes also essential. That is why we recommend this course to all beginners to get the first impressions and also for everyone who was already on the road for refreshing. For practical exercise, we go into the area near the valley. No ski touring equipment is necessary, but suitable clothing and shoes in the snow for several hours.
