Your day begins with a comfortable pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech aboard an air-conditioned,
high-end vehicle. As the city fades behind you, enjoy a scenic drive through the changing landscapes of the
Middle Atlas foothills rolling olive groves, traditional Berber villages, and your first glimpses of mountain
scenery. A short coffee stop is included along the way.
On arrival in Ouzoud, you'll meet your certified local guide for a guided hike (if you booked the guided option) along shaded trails winding through the olive trees, leading to breathtaking viewpoints over the 110-metre Ouzoud Falls the tallest waterfalls in North Africa. As you descend towards the canyon, keep an eye out for the resident wild Barbary
macaque monkeys, known for their playful curiosity.
The highlight of the morning: board a traditional wooden boat and sail right up to the base of the thundering cascades, where the cool mist and near-constant rainbows create an unforgettable natural spectacle.
Afterwards, enjoy free time to take a refreshing dip in the natural river pools or settle in for a traditional Berber lunch tagine, local salads and mint tea on a terrace overlooking the falls.
The walk back up offers fresh panoramic angles for your photos, before a relaxed drive back to Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening with unforgettable memories of one of Morocco's most spectacular natural wonders.
