Experience Naples from a different perspective, far from the hectic pace of the historic centre: this walking tour in Vomero takes you through elegance, greenery, and spectacular views of the Gulf. It is a route designed for those who want to discover a area rich in history and views from above, with time to breathe, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere.
The meeting point is at 10:00 AM in Piazza degli Artisti (entrance from Via Luca Giordano), where you will meet the tour leader. Before leaving, you can have a Neapolitan coffee at the Opera bar (not included). After a brief introduction to the origins of Vomero, you will begin the walk by discovering how this area went from being an agricultural area to one of the most refined areas in the city.
The first stop is Villa Floridiana, where you will walk through the historic gardens and stop at the panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. You will then continue towards the Certosa di San Martino to reach the famous Belvedere di San Martino, one of the most iconic spots to admire the city from above and take memorable photos.
The morning concludes with a visit to the Cloister of San Francesco, a picturesque place full of Neapolitan stories, curiosities and traditions, where an aperitif is planned (drinks according to the venue's menu). The tour ends at around 12:30 PM, with farewells and final photographs.
