What you can expect

  • Departing from Port Angeles, this 9-hour guided tour begins with a scenic drive from sea-level to 5,242 feet elevation at Hurricane Ridge. Upon arrival, our guide will lead a hike along the subalpine nature trails to enjoy views of the meadows, peaks, and river valleys of the Olympic Mountains.

    While passing through Port Angeles, our guests can purchase grab & go lunches, snacks, or coffee during our 15-20 minute scheduled stop. Our tour then continues back into Olympic National Park with a scenic 35-minute drive to Lake Crescent. At the lake, guests will enjoy a picturesque picnic lunch and have time to visit the historic Lake Crescent Lodge and its beautiful shoreline trails.

    After a scenic drive up the Sol Duc Valley, our guide will lead a 2-mile guided hike to Sol Duc Falls, one of Olympic National Park's top-rated waterfalls. This hike features stunning views of the river canyon and towering old-growth forests. After exploring Sol Duc, our guide will make the 1 hour 15 minute drive back to Port Angeles to conclude the tour.
