Optional early start: The earliest entry slots for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park are 6:30–7:00 and 7:00–8:00. Rising early helps you beat the crowds and heat. For these slots, departures from hotels near Wulingyuan East Gate require 10 minutes in advance, while city centre Zhangjiajie hotels require 40 minutes in advance.
